Do I need to convert JPG to another format first?

How accurate is the OCR?
99.9% accuracy on clean printed text, around 95% on photos with normal lighting, and 80–90% on handwriting or low-contrast scans. The cleaner the source image, the cleaner the output.
What happens to my files after I scan them?
Files are processed over TLS, stored encrypted at rest, and deleted from the OCR queue after extraction. Free-tier history is kept 30 days; paid-tier history is forever or until you delete it.
